Merit System

BZU merit system is different for different department. For professional degree admissions it requires admission test where as for other degrees the merit is computed only by using the marks obtained in the last required degree or certificate.

BBA, MBA, Accounting and Finance, BS CS

The merit is calculated on the basis of marks in last degree or certificate (FA/FSc) and the admission test NAT customized conducted by NTS.

Merit Calculation and Minimum Requirement of Test Score

The past merits varies considerably for various degrees.

BBA and MBA

The merit for BBA and MBA for the last year was about 62%.

Commerce

For BSc or MSc Accounting and finance the last merit was about 56%.

Computer Sciences and Tele Com

For BS CS and MSc in computer science and Tele Communication the merit was about 58%.

Fall and Spring Merit Waiting Lists of Selected Candidates

The merit lists for BBA and MBA are displayed in the admin block of IMS normally after 20 days after the test date. For Commerce degrees and Computer science and Tele com degrees the merit lists are pasted on the notice board of the respective department. Similarly the waiting lists are displayed on the same places after 10 days.
