Merit System

Applicants for admission in Bahria University must meet the following requirements:

Engineering

For admission in Engineering applicants must have passed intermediate examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks.

Applied Sciences and Graduate Studies

For admission in BS CS the minimum marks required in intermediate is 50%.
Four years degree in BS 4 years, BBA, MBA or MSc in Applied Physics/Electronics/Equivalent with CGPA 2.5/4.0 or 50% marks.

Merit Calculation and Minimum Requirement of Test Score

Merit is computed on the basis of Academic performance (marks in last degree) plus score in entry test and interview. Bahria university accepts score in SAT Reasoning, GMAT, and GRE in lieu of its own entrance test.

NTS NAT

Bahria University accepts score of NAT I and II for merit calculations.

Post Graduate Studies

GAT is required to pass with minimum of 50 score to be eligible to have admission in MS and M. Phil. For PhD GAT subject or GRE (Subject) is required.

Fall and Spring Merit Waiting Lists of Selected Candidates

Admissions to Bahria University are announced in the month of June/July and Nov/Dec every year for Fall Semester except for Engineering programs which will be opened in Jun / jul for Fall Semester (only one intake per year).

Waiting Lists

Merit lists and waiting lists are displayed in the campus and the selected candidates are informed through courier to their addresses. The lists are also published at their websites.
