The main criterion for admission is the performance of the applicant in a series of tests
conducted by the IBA.
- Initial screening is done through an aptitude test
- The successful candidates then appear in an interview
- Before the Interview, candidates are evaluated through group discussion. where their communication skills, confidence, maturity and leadership potential are assessed.
In an effort to deter test preparation, IBA consistently changes its test pattern each year and does not provide a sample paper with the prospectus. Hence, students applying to the college have no idea of what to expect in the test.
For the effective preparation of IBA admission Test, a prospect test taker must prepare atleast 17 sections in Math, Verbal, General Knowledge and IQ, so that a student covers all areas that may be tested.
