BZU - Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan

Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan established the Department of Business Administration in December, 1977 and classes for the first batch started on March 15, 1978. The Department has recently attained the status of an Institute and named as Institute of Management Sciences (IMS).

Test Preparation

BZU has a defined pattern for its admission test (entrytest). Admission Test for MBA is applicable to all other masters programs of IMS, similarly; the admission test for BBA is applicable to all other undergraduate programs offered by BZU- IMS. The established and renowned institution for BZU test preparation in Multan is College of Admission Test

In 2008 the sample papers provided by BZU for BBA and MBA were same.         


Eligibility for BBA (Hons.) and BBA (IT) Programmes

Applicants who have passed their Intermediate examination or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution securing at least 45% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for admission in BBA (Hons.) and BBA (IT) Hons. programmes of BZU IMS. Graduates are not eligible for admission in the BBA (Hons.) and BBA (IT) Hons. programme.

Computation of Merit

The merit shall be determined as under:-
Merit will be determined on the basis of 50 percent weightage allocated to marks obtained in entrytest and 50 percent weightage to marks obtained in Intermediate or equivalent examination including 20 marks for Hifz-e-Quran.

Eligibility for MBA, MBA (IT), and MBA (Banking) Programmes

For admission in MBA program of BZU IMS, a candidate must have secured 45% marks in BA, BSc, B.Com. or any professional degree.
